Shape Matters. Our posture, how we habitually hold our body and how gravity pulls on us has a profound effect on our practice of asana and our daily life, no matter what level of practice we have attained.
In this fun, informative workshop you will be introduced to the anatomical areas most responsible for holding our front, back and side bodies. You will learn to accurately “read” a persons body and learn new strategies for modifying a pose. Best of all – you’ll be invited to delve deeply into your most challenging asanas and you may find that the muscles holding you are not where you think they are!
While this workshop is designed for yoga instructors we welcome any yoga practitioner who wants to learn more about the amazing world that is their body.
